Busan: Baseball & Lunch

While on vacation in Busan, my attempts to go to the beach have been thwarted every day. So in the interim, my lovely friends & I made the best of it. We had a wonderful lunch that was perfect for a rainy day - backbone soup with cabbage. (so good! the meat just feel right off the bone)

After that, we headed off to a baseball game. Doosan Bears vs LG Giants. It was a close game, the Giants won 8-7. It was a ton of fun! Very hot, but fun. It was a great vacation activity :)

Painted Walls and River Halls

I'm on summer vacation and decided to take a trip to visit friends in Busan. I was here visiting in April or May, but was was only here for the weekend so there wasn't too much time to wander about. I'm here for a few days longer than that and with the weather being too overcast to visit the beach, I decided to wander about the area I was in. I walked up and down a path that was built below street level, under the subway, and with a thin river separating the two sides. It was positively lovely. There were people walking and riding bikes, exercising at the outdoor gyms, and sitting about, taking a rest. I came across beautiful graffiti, covered pathways that seemed to have no meaning, and many beautiful sights that made me truly happy to be there. I'm almost a bit glad the weather wasn't ideal - today was quite wonderful :)
